Offline I want to generate a report for all the modules stored in txt file. The txt file contains the fullName of the modules.
The dxl to generate report is contained in GenerateReport.dxl
I tried with the below script in cmd
doors -u "Pinky" -P "pink" -D "current = read(\"Requirement/System/Mod\",true); #include <GenerateReport.dxl>;"
But the dxl interaction window throws the error "-E- DXL: <Line:1> badly formed token (EOF)".
Kindly request solutions.

Hi,
I think you should put the include file name between quotes.
#include <\"GenerateReport.dxl\">;
Regards,
Alain

I included quotes but then it throws error "The system could not find the file specified".
I also verified the same in the previous posting found in the link below
Link: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=14585984
Reference : c:\programme\telelogic\DOORS_8.2\bin\doors.exe -f "%TEMP%" -D "current = read(\"%~1\", true); #include <export_batch.dxl>" -u Administrator

then put the entire file path...

The "-D" switch is not batch mode. Doors will start with a GUI and will not naturally end. the "-b" switch is batch mode without a GUI, which means you may not open modules visibly; use "false" in the "read" command.
However that command will need to be in your your GenerateReport.dxl script since "-b" requires a dxl file name; not code.

Thank you.
I also tried with batch mode using the below code
C:\Program Files\Telelogic\DOORS_8.3\bin>doors -u "Rocky" -P "Rock" -b ..\lib\dxl\GenerateReport.dxl -l C:\Temp\Metrics_Logfile.txt
But this opens cmd window stating : Press return to exit DOORs
Is there a switch to exclude this.

Thank you,I got the issue solved.
There was a print statement which opened the dxl interaction window.
